Aussies Abroad: Reed’s locker room domination and success found in Japan
Welcome back to another week’s installment of Aussies Abroad, where we take a look at the Aussies kicking ass in the overseas world of pro wrestling.
Let’s start this week’s coverage off with the giant dominant force that is Bronson Reed. Last week’s RAW saw Reed addressing the audience after taking out a flurry of hard hitters in the WWE. His call-out was interrupted by Seth Freakin’ Rollins, who had the guts to face the Aussie giant head-on, which wasn’t the wisest decision. Reed, as expected, quickly took control of the situation, and sent a flurry of punches Rollin’s way. The carnage didn’t end there though, with Reed also bringing the drama all the way to Smackdown, where he joined the new Bloodline in ambushing Roman Reigns, Sami Zayn, and the Usos. Bronson sent a wave of tsunamis to the group, including the legendary Reigns. It’s clear that Reed has completely overtaken the locker room, and we could not be more excited to see the South Aussie dominate the WWE.
Speaking of powerhouses, over in NXT, Adelaide star Zaria (formerly known as DELTA) has continued to make her presence known in the WWE after a dominating match saw her pick up an impressive win earlier this month. The young talent recently dropped a promo ahead of Survivor Challenge, claiming that she is ready to rip and tear through the NXT locker room and that after Deadline, there will be no more mystery as to who she is to international audiences. Zaria is set for a match with Wren Sinclair in a Women’s Iron Survivor Challenge Qualifying match later this week.
Over in AEW, Aussie Harley Cameron has unfortunately continued her spell of bad luck in a match against the recently returned Mina Shirakawa. Shirakawa took control over much of the match, but Cameron was still able to get some impressive hits in, including a harsh backstabber and a mean suplex. Still, it was her damaged leg that saw the demise of the upcoming Aussie.
In Japan, Aussie Christ Vice picked up an impressive win against JD Lee with GLEAT G ProWrestling. Vice defeated Lee with a package piledriver in the quick match that was dominated by the Aussie talent.
Adelaide talent Kira Summer has also continued her work in Japan with TJPW. Although Summer didn’t quite make it through the Next Generation Tournament, she has continued to make Australia proud with her impressive work across Japan.
Another Adelaide local, James Kray, has also taken a break from his usual shows with ACW and RCW to take a trip to Japan. The local is set to return to Japan in the coming weeks to bring some more Aussie heat to the scene.
Aussie legend Lena Kross has also continued to dominate Japan in the short amount of time she’s been there. After her huge win with VENY for the Sendai Girls Tag Team Title earlier this month, Kross picked up another massive win this week, showing the international audiences just how hard the Aussies can hit.
Aussies Aragon and Dean Draven have also continued their stint in Japan, with both defeating the team of Skull Aji and Kaze to become the new WSD tag team champions. What an impressive win for Aussies!

New South Wale’s All-Star Wrestling champion Keegan Brettle has also been dominating the Japanese scene this week, picking up a win in both Kobe and Osaka.

Meanwhile in the UK, PWA powerhouse Charli Evans made waves in the international scene this week with a huge match against Cara Noir with PROGRESS Wrestling. Although Evans didn’t pick up the win, the hard-hitter still brought the heat with some intense and impressive moves.
