Tuesday Morning RAW November 5
RAW: 05/11/24
Channel: Foxtel WWE Channel/Kayo/Binge
The RAW after Crown Jewel was action-packed from start to finish. This week we see all the fallout from Crown Jewel with Sami and the Uso’s as well as Bronson Reed’s reaction to his loss against Seth. Also, this week saw two number 1 contender matches for both the Women’s and Men’s World Championships.
Liv Morgan and the Tag Champions
The Women’s World Champion and first-ever Crown Jewel Champion Liv Morgan would begin the show after officially ending her revenge tour, as it is now time for the world tour. The Women’s Tag Team Champions Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair would come out and challenge Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodrigez to a match. Liv would use the opportunity to try and divide the champs by telling them that they both believe they’re the best wrestlers. Despite Adam Pearce’s efforts to maintain peace Liv would keep pushing telling Bianca that Jade was going to stab her in the back as Belair would turn around and slap Liv. Adam Pearce would end any further violence and announce that a battle royale for the next number 1 contender for the Women’s World Championship would start just then.
Number 1 Contender Battle Royale
A chaotic match that saw Liv Morgan sitting ringside as she would slander all the Women inside and outside the ring. The final four women standing would be Jade Cargill, Bianca Belair, Lyra Valkyria and Iyo Sky. The tag champions would work together and make multiple attempts at eliminating Lyra and Iyo. This would end though as Raquel and Liv would work together to drag the champs out of the ring eliminating them. The champs would chase Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez away from ringside as Iyo and Lyra were the final two left. They would take the battle onto the apron as both superstars would trade blows, but Iyo Sky would turn out victorious as she would suplex Lyra out of the ring to become the Number 1 Contender. With the current run that Iyo Sky is on it could be possible that she is a genuine contender for the title and with the Tag Champ’s getting involved could this be a possible direction for the Women’s War Games match?
Sami and the Uso’s
Sami Zayn came out to address what happened at Crown Jewel with the bloodline before he was swiftly interrupted by Jey Uso. Jey would thank him for saving him but had to ask if he kicked Roman Reigns on purpose. At this Jimmy Uso would interrupt and tell Jey that Sami Zayn couldn’t be trusted and that he took out Roman on purpose. Sami would turn things around by telling Jimmy that he was just as untrustworthy bringing up how Jimmy betrayed Jey, Roman and himself in the past and while he may not be a bad person he makes bad decisions. Sami then brought how at Crown Jewel there was a minute where things felt like old times, and it was special, but it unravelled too fast which is why Sami doesn’t want to get involved. Jey would take the opportunity to tell Sami that he is part of the family and that he hopes to see him on Smackdown to talk. With things heating up in the Bloodline storyline again Sami should return to Roman and the Uso’s to set up War Games.
Chad Gable VS Dragon Lee
It was an intense back-and-forth match between these two which saw some great sports such as Dragon Lee getting thrown onto the ground by Gable nearly onto head and Dragon Lee using Gable’s ring attire against him. The two would then start to trade Suplex’s as Lee would hit a Power Bomb on Gable. Gable would kick out though and manage to set Lee up on the top rope and throw him onto the mat to make a cover. Zelina would see Gable’s feet on the rope and she would interfere and distract Gable. Ivy Nile would come and attempt to choke out Zelina until Rey Mysterio would come out and break them up. Dragon Lee would use the distraction as an advantage to pin Gable. An unexpected great match that has helped create more interest in this feud between the LWO and American Made.
Other Highlight’s:
- Miz has been kidnapped by Uncle Howdy and the Wyatt Sicks.
- War Raiders defeated New Day as tension rise between Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods.
Damian Priest VS Dominic Mysterio VS Sheamus VS Seth Rollins
An excellent main event that started with the three other men targeting Dominic Mysterio until Seth Rollins tried to roll up Priest. Seth would keep the momentum until Dom pushed him from the top rope as Dom would take control of the match. Priest would eventually break away from Dom until Sheamus would come in and hit everyone with an Irish Curse Back Breaker. Sheamus would get Priest with White Noise which Priest kicked out of. Sheamus would push on though until Seth would take him out as Seth would focus on Dom with a Pedigree and set him up for the Stomp. Bronson Reed would take the opportunity to take Priest and Sheamus out ringside and after a tussle with Seth he would manage to keep him down as well. Reed would Tsunami both Priest and Sheamus in the ring as he would then move onto Seth Rollins who he would Tsunami through the commentary table. As Reed walked away Dominic would come out of hiding to frog splash Sheamus and make the cover which Priest would break up. Priest would then go on to win the match with a South of Heaven Choke Slam on Dom. Reed is making his mark on the main event now involving Sheamus as Priest could potentially be the man to take the title from Gunther.
A great RAW this week that featured amazing matches and began the build-into Survivor Series. With the Women’s War Games match being uncertain potentially we see the start of that tonight with the Tag champs and Raquel and Liv while the men’s War Games match is set with Sami on his way to Roman and the Uso’s. Each of the matches also set a lot up going into the next couple of weeks with two new number 1 contender’s and tension’s rising with American Made and the LWO.
