Andy Rhodes stands tall to capture TCW Title at Jaded

Andy Rhodes stood tall as the brand new TCW Champion after beating Zakk Archer, throughout the match Andy Rhodes showed his power but Zakk Archer would keep on fighting. The night began though with an all-out brawl with Eddie Jones and Liam Lacey going at it, soon members of Ascendancy JJ Storm and Chase Austin were out, and others came to try and break up the battle.

But the damage was done and Andy Rhodes walks away your new TCW Champion. He’ll be defending the title at Breakout against Elliott Greyson another former TCW Champion. Greyson was in action later in the night, battling some demons against James Sly Silver.

In a solid back and fourth there were times when Greyson could have broken the rules, but fought himself to not. Earlier in the night Small Nation (Allie Galvin and Aaron Lynch) were not able to beat Ascendancy and now there’s some trouble in paradise, will Galvin and Lynch be okay after failing to get the win against Storm and Austin? Or has the Small Nation come to an end?

Parker and Steadman for the TCW North Esk Title was a tough battle, both men trading some big blows, Steadman tried and missed a moonsault while Parker was delivering some hard blows to Steadman throughout and would retain in a slug fest.

In a battle of the big men, E.C. Brownie was overcome by Dominic Knight in what was a slug fest, with some massive blows from each of them to try and get the win. Dominic Knight would prove too much for Brownie, and the win after the match as he was celebrating Brownie attacked and delivered a sick sit out piledriver that left Knight the worse for wear.

Liam Lacey and Eddie Jones battled to a no contest, due to interference it was a very intense match from both men showcasing some great skill. Liam Lacey is easily one the best wrestlers on the TCW roster, would be good to see him spread his wings and venture into state.

Dylan Daniels made a shock return to TCW at Jaded, he hadn’t been seen since Allie Galvin retired him a few months ago. It seems we have a second coming of Jonestown which the fans really were hot to the idea.

All in all, another fun show from Tasmanian Championship Wrestling, despite it being a no-contest the main event was a very good match both men showcasing great skills. The Tag Team match between Small Nation and the Ascendency was quality.
