Bryan Danielson provides an update
Aftermath of WrestleDream
Bryan Danielson’s full time wrestling career may be over, but that doesn’t mean we have seen the last of the former AEW World Champion.
In a recent interview with Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful, Danielson provided some insight on his medical condition as well as his future when it comes to professional wrestling.
Danielson – “Tony and I have talked, and I’ll always pick up the phone when he calls, if I’m by my phone,” he said. “But anything with that sort of thing, the first thing that I have to is when I’m kind of done wrestling that’s in my priority is [getting] my neck better, which probably involves some sort of neck surgery sooner rather than later.
“So that would be my first kind of order of business. Then I’ll help AEW where I can. I love AEW, so I want to help as much as I can. As much as they want my help, I’m willing to participate.”
It has been noted that Danielson also regrets making the decision to participate in some of the matches he had leading up to his brutal bout with Jon Moxley at WrestleDream. Danielson also confirmed that the whole program of him “working without a contract” was in fact legitimate and that he had been working on a verbal agreement since his contract expired.
Hello, I’m Scott aka RAZ. I’ve been an avid wrestling fan for over 30 years and have dabbled in both the world or pro wrestling and music. Previously commentated for Iron Fist Pro in South Australia, I now focus on more of the mainstream wrestling and run a few shows on YouTube where I breakdown the most recent happenings. Glad to be part of the team here at PWdownunder.com.
