PWI Top 250 Women taken by Storm.

Timeless Aussie Women Domination!

The PWI top 250 Women in wrestling has just been announced and this year’s headliner is absolutely timeless. That’s right, AEW star and Australia’s own (Yes, I know she was born in New Zealand, but like the pavlova and Hugh Jackman, Australia has claimed her as their own) has taken out the top spot in the world of professional wrestling. Toni outlasted all the competition and even took out Rhea Ripley who held the number one spot in 2023.

Toni’s dominance over the women available in this category is not a small feat especially when she is joined by some extremely notable names like Gulia from Stardom / Marigold / NXT – Jordynne Grace from TNA / NXT and of course we cannot forget to mention South Australia’s own Rhea “Bloody” Ripley who has also experienced a stellar year and came in at number 3 on the list.

Toni’s 281-day title reign as AEW Women’s World Champion is a measure that helped to propel her to the top of the industry and this list goes to show that Australia is producing some of the greatest wrestlers in the world right now.

Could 2025 see Australia once again in the discussion? Well, if the trend continues then there is definitely a certainty to it, especially with newcomers to the mainstream like Delta making her way to NXT.

Other Aussies on the list include – Delta #70, Lena Kross #99, Steph de Lander #101, Rita Stone #125, Aysha #135, Jessica Troy #166, Charli Evans #209
