OPW X MCW World’s Collide Preview

Oceania Pro Wrestling and Melbourne City Wrestling will collide this weekend showcasing some of the best talent around the world. With Mustafa Ali (Former WWE and TNA) wrestling along with Classy Ali (Qatar Pro Wrestling Champion) and Flammer (AAA). This show is expected to be one to watch!

Here is the quick rundown of matches:-

Erika Reid (OPW Woman’s Champion) & Eugenie v. Backslide Girlz (Kingsley & Shay Kassidy) (Current OPW Woman’s Tag Champions).

This match will be for the OPW Woman’s Tag Championship. With Erika Reid having defeated Kingsley at the last MCW show, Erika was frustrated with the distraction Shay Kassidy caused during the match and threw the challenge to go after their tag team championship.

Lucky O’Leary v. Ryan Rapid

Ryan Rapid has been on the rise lately, especially with a huge upset over Mitch Waterman at the last MCW show. Lucky O’Leary hasn’t been as successful but has been making a name for himself. Will O’Leary get lucky or will Ryan prove why he’s Rapid(ly) rising?

Caveman Ugg & Edward Dusk v. The ICON$ (Robbie Thorpe & Rocky Menero) – OPW Tag Team Championship Match

Edward Dusk and Gangrel won the OPW Tag Team Championship at the last OPW Event. With Gangrel unable to make the trip for this show, management spoke with Edward Dusk to choose a partner in which; he chose Caveman Ugg. Their opponents Rocky Menero and Robbie Thorpe have been a force to be reckoned with this year at Melbourne City Wrestling. Can Edward Dusk keep the gold along with Caveman Ugg or will The ICON$ continue to collect gold?

Tome Filip v. Emman Azman

Tome Filip who represents one half of The Natural Classics will face ‘The Golden Boy’ Emman Azman. Azman who hails from Malaysia has made a name for himself in Australia over the last few years has recently aligned himself with Zhan Wen and Carlo Cannon. At the last MCW event, Emman teamed with Carlo Cannon and were unable to capture the MCW Tag Championship held by Natural Classics. Will Emman prove to everyone why they call him The Golden Boy or will The Taiga Tome Filip continue his success?

Classy Ali v. Mitch Waterman – Qatar Pro Wrestling Championship Match

Classy Ali is the current Qatar Pro Wrestling Champion and threw out an Open Challenge to anyone in Australia. The caller as answered by Mitch Waterman, a former MCW Champion and one who’s made a name for himself. However Mitch hasn’t been as successful lately with a shock loss to Ryan Rapid. With Classy Ali mocking Mitch Waterman and believing his opponent isn’t worthy, will Mitch shock Classy Ali and become the new Qatar Champion? Or will Mitch leave empty-handed?

Flammer v. Jessica Troy – AAA Reina de Reinas Championship Match

Flammer, a Mexican sensation who is currently the AAA Reina de Reinas Champion makes her way to Australia. Her opponent Jessica Troy, who has won championships across Australia and is well traveled. With Jessica being considered one of Australia’s best, will Jessica’s next adventure take her to Mexico as the new Champion or will Flammer put a stop to it?

Adam Brooks v. Mustafa Ali – OPW Championship Match

Adam Brooks who currently holds the Oceania Pro Wrestling Championship will take on the former cruiserweight and X-division champion, Mustafa Ali! With Brooks having made a legacy at Melbourne City Wrestling with numerous championships and legendary feuds. Mustafa Ali has done the same thing world-wide. Now the two will face off in what will be an iconic match, with Bharat Sundaresan claiming he will be speaking with Mustafa Ali to have him for Team India at the next event (in December). Will Bharat make a play during this match? Will the ICON$ aid Brooks to victory? With so much at stake, you’ll need to be there to witness what will go down!
