Havok captures WR Australian National Championship
It’s finally happened after 25 years in the wrestling business Havok has captured the Australian National Championship when he won at Wrestle Rampage’s Resurgence. Havok would survive a four-way elimination match where he beat champion Tommy Knight, Edward Dusk and Rock Menero.
Havok has wrestled in many promotions across Australia, after starting in Pro Wrestling South Australia back in 1999. His first title reign was the PWSA Southern Hemisphere Hardcore title beating Steve O’Neal. He’d hold the title for 98 days before Steve O’Neal would take the title back from him from there Havok has won the South Australian Heavyweight Title twice, the EPW Heavyweight Title when he was briefly known as Bruce Mils.
He was also JPW Champion, Unified JPW Champion, RCW Champion (back as Havok) and the Wrestle Rampage Australian National Tag Team Titles with Link Barnett as The Adventures of Havok and Link.
Havok had the chance to dethrone champion Tommy Knight at Wrestle Rampage’s Re-Emerging and would go onto have to face tag team partner Link Barnett at Retaliation in a Number 1 Contender qualifying match to go onto face the champion again in a four way match at Resurgence.
Havok is one of the longest serving and most recognisable faces in professional wrestling in South Australia and Australia. Now Havok will reign as Wrestle Rampage Australian National Champion. A reign that has been 25 years in the making, and now we wait to see how long Havok will reign as champion.
