What’s On This Weekend in Australian Wrestling March 1st
New South Wales
This Saturday, Australian Wrestling Entertainment will be running their Unforgiven live wrestling event out of the Petersham RSL. The card currently boasts names like Jay Sorbet, Spartan, Psykotic and will feature a main event bout for the AWE Tag belts between The Balkans and the reigning champs The Greasers. The show starts at 7:00pm.
Australian Wrestling Superstars will also be running an event on March 2nd, this time out of the Mortdale RSL. Otis will take on Apollo, Ethan Hughz will face Chris Abbot and Aussie native Lee Morrow looks to defend his country’s pride against the UK’s Tony Sin.
Queensland
United Pro Wrestling will be hosting their Redemption event tomorrow night out of the Banana Bender Pub. The card includes a contract signing for the UPW Heavyweight Championship, a three way elimination match for the Tag Team Championship and a Featherweight title bout between current Champion, Damien Daniels, and former Champion, Bones. And there are still more matches to see.
QWA End of Indestructible is also taking place this weekend and is named for the two men in its main event. Seth Tylors has bet his career and legacy on the line for a chance at his former friend Sam Cannon’s United Heavyweight Championship. Elsewhere in the card, we’ll see both Tag Champions in action as Edmund Blayr takes on JC Sabotage and Angus Sharp faces Tim Burr with many other matches in store. The show takes place at Northern Beaches State High School.
Western Australia
Southern Territory Wrestling will be hosting Cruel Summer out of the Baldivis Rec Centre this Saturday with a strong lineup. The Pulse will defend the STW Tag titles against The Garcia Boys, Best For Business will take on the team of Hayden Zenith and Robby Heart, both Harli Hyde and Chadwick Jackson will put their respective belts on the line and in the main event STW Champion Chris Target will take on NJPW’s Mikey Nicholls. Looking like a fun night of action.
Victoria
Massacre X Wrestling will be running Mildy Kombat out of The Setts Mildura. The lineup currently consists of a Tag Team Championship fight between The Cudas and Corvidae & Colossus, two title contender matches, a main event for the MXW Title between Scotty Roach and Ryan Casca and many others. Doors open at 6.30.
South Australia
RCW Big Top Beatdown is this weekend, emanating out of the Peacock Tent at Gluttony. The Parea will team with Nick Armstrong to take on the Parea, the King of Fringe gauntlet returns featuring Matt Hayter, Jett Armstrong, Mr Cliff, Downunder and Zak Sabbath and DELTA will defend her newly coveted RCW Grand Championship against Grimm. This will sure to be a fun one.
