Mickie James Announces Championship Matches For HER Event + Former WWE Talent To Appear
Former WWE and TNA Wrestling star Mickie James has been hard at work helping to build a reputable and successful platform for women’s professional wrestling for a number of years, including the NWA EmPowerrr event in 2021. This April, James will bring her exclusive all-female HER event to Ballarat, alongside Starrcast and Oceania Pro Wrestling for Starrcast Downunder.
During a livestream on February 25th, James made some announcements regarding the event, beginning with the reveal of some of the matches without mentioning any specific talent, including the introduction of a new set of championship belts:
I spoke to Cam (Vale) at OPW, and in Ballarat on the twelfth for HER, he wants to crown the first ever Oceania Pro Wrestling Women’s Tag Team Champions.

James also announced that the main event of the event would be for a major international championship:
I just got off the phone earlier today with my dear friend Gail Kim, and she assured me that the Knockouts World Championship will be defended and on the line in the main event of HER.

James, a 5 time TNA Knockouts Champion herself, concluded by praising the current champion, Jordynne Grace, for her latest defence of the belt against Gisele Shaw at TNA No Surrender.
Finally, as was announced by Starrcast and Oceania Pro Wrestling, the latest addition to the appearing talent roster. An almost 20 year veteren of the WWE and a former WWE Divas Champion.
Vix Crow: Formerly known as Alicia Fox, Vix Crow will be making her way overseas almost a year after her WWE departure. Crow won the WWE Divas Championship in 2010.
