International Star & New Champion

BCW
Over the weekend Australian’s once again voted with their feet as they walked through the doors of many a local wrestling promotion. BCW in Victoria held it’s 62 event with the main event featuring former TNA talent PCO taking on Krackerjak for the International Heavyweight Championship as well as Gore defending his Battle Express Championship against Levi Nixon.
Gore walked into the match as a double champion looking to defend the Battle Express Championship in what would be the first of two title defenses for the champ. He would go on to control most of the action even through the outside distractions from his challenger later in the evening, The Gift Robbie Thorpe.

Thorpe would taunt the Snuff King from the outside in an attempt to distract the double champ. Nixon would give it his all to the big man. When the action spilled out of the ring it looked like it was all but over for Nixon until the ref checked on him which left Gore open for an attack from Thorpe with the BCW Heavyweight Championship across the cranium. Thorpe rolled Gore back into the ring and a hazy Nixon would drape his arm over the champion and secure the three count and become the new BCW Battle Express Champion.

ALL STAR WRESTLING
The day was Saturday February 22nd and All Star Wrestling was set to host their Survival of the Fittest event out of the Padstow RSL Club in Padstow NSW.
Headlining the show was former TNA, WWE and WSW star, Austin Aries challenging the All Star Wrestling Heavyweight Champion, Keegan Brettle.

In a match that went almost 20 minutes, it was an extremely hard-fought battle between the two men as Keegan looked to keep his stranglehold on the championship.
Aries would not relent in what has been described as an extremely close match, but ultimately, Keegan would walk out of the show with 20 successful title defenses under his belt. Keegan would secure the win with the Big Keegzy Splash from the top rope putting the former 5 time World Champion down for the count.
