Aus Pro Wrestling plans on cementing themselves as a true force in Australian wrestling with their second event, Grabbing The Brass Ring, coming to the Central Ringwood Community Centre this Sunday. A major, first time matchup is set to main event as Erika Reid defends the OPW Women’s Championship against the “Queen of Queensland” Tessa Armstrong. Women’s wrestling will also be showcased in a matchup between Aysha and Charlie Rose, two of the fastest rising stars in the scene. Speaking of rising stars, Aus Pro will be launching their Rising Stars Division, with the unruly Bush Kelly and the technically savvy Hector Jones being pitted against each other in the division’s first official matchup.

QUEENSLAND

Following a very untimely cancellation, Queensland Wrestling Alliance will officially be holding this year’s Tropical Rumble this Saturday at the Northern Beaches State High School, exactly as they were supposed to on the 8th of this month. The status of the card is currently up in the air, as Atomic Pro Wrestling, United Pro Wrestling and Wrestling Alleigance Rockhampton all holding shows on the same night effectively render a handful of scheduled matchups as impossible to take place, however QWA still plan on providing an unforgettable event nonetheless.
If you missed out on tickets the first time, you’ve officially been given a second chance to go and check out the QWA Tropical Rumble.

Atomic Pro Wrestling is back at The Powerhouse in Toowoomba and ready to usher in a new era and a new year with ACT II this Saturday. What better way to achieve this than with an APW Tag Team Championship match, as Decadence (Roberto & James Jaeger) put their titles on the line against the lovable Step-Dads (Chris Dink & Charlie D). Equally as major is a triple threat match between mainstay Zoltan, the returning Shinji and Renegade, who’ll be coming in with plenty of momentum from his win at Inertia last November.
A first time ever clash has also been locked in as Andre Irons continues to make a name for himself in APW against JJ Avery. Plenty more APW stars will get their time to shine, as Misfit and Xtina Kade will both be in action, along with “The Worst” Chad Atlas making his return to Atomic Pro Wrestling.
Witness a brand-new chapter for APW unfold at The Powerhouse with Act II.

Wrestling Allegiance Rockhampton is rolling back into the Great Western Hotel in Rockhampton this Saturday for Ghost Town. Promising another hot night of action, the WAR Central Queensland Championship will be on the line as Tyson De Hunt puts the title on the line against Angus Sharp, a man who is willing to do anything to capture the championship. the WAR Millenium Championship is also set to be defended by Jason Storm against the winner of a battle royal that only VIP ticket holders will get to witness.
Years of personal animosity come to a head as TJ Starr, sick of being the whipping boy of The Voiceless, will go one on one with Freak Nyxx. Antonio Jaxson takes his crusade on the WAR locker room to a matchup against the chaotic Dante Rage. Having won the Golden Opportunity Contract at Winds of Change, Marston Holmes must now deal with the man who, following a backstage attack, did not receive a fair go in the Golden Opportunity tournament, Alan Isaac.
WAR Ghost Town is absolutely the place to be this Saturday for any Rockhampton locals (or even visitors!).

United Pro Wrestling is back after a very quiet February, bringing their brand or pro wrestling to the Soapbox Bar in Fortitude Valley this Saturday. UPW are ready to top their previous Soapbox event with the highly anticipated UPW Heavyweight Championship clash between champion Thirteen and Yeet Stevens that fans have been waiting for since last October. Following a tough loss at UPW‘s previous event, Mitch Ryder is back and he will take on the very man he lost to at that event, Jesse Love.
The grudge matches keep on coming as The Stockman and UPW Featherweight Champion Jack Tucker, after their impromptu alliance on the Sunshine Coast in January fell apart at the hands of a vintage Stockman Chokeslam, will settle their beef in singles action. A supergroup of UPW originals in EC Diamond and King Rembrant (formerly Ricky), will unite against a team that they’ve each had their fair share of issues with, The Taylor Boys (Bo & Trent). A Cockroach, a Clown and a Snake walk into a bar as Cockroach, making his first appearance for UPW in almost four years, Pogo The Clown and Damien “The Snake” Daniels compete in a triple threat, Featherweight showcase. Fan favourite, both in UPW and the Valley, Bones will also be in action against “Cutthroat” Luke Silver.
UPW will be bringing their very own party to Soapbox this Saturday, be there.

Nightfall Wrestling Alliance is kicking things into Overdrive this Saturday in the Deception Bay Community Hall with a meaty card. Meaty is also a very appropriate adjective to describe the Nightfall Heavyweight Championship match, which will see the champion Bruiser defends against David Sheather, Gator and Johnny Hardwood in a Fatal Four Way match. Following a messy end to his match with Johnny Adler at Cupid’s Chokehold, B-Lars’ search for answers meets a roadblock in the form of Adam Brooks, who is making return to Nightfall.
The Aphrodite Championship will be on the line as champion Hilly Monroe has been caught in the warpath of Natalya King, who looks to put her teachings from the Animal Kingdom (Kobra, Aktaion & Gator) to good use. Harvel Falco is also set to make his first defense of the Pacific Championship, which he captured in controversial fashion, against former champion Steven Magnus. What was originally going to The Hockleys (David & Tom) defending the Tag Team Championships in a rematch against Suit Up Society (PJ O’Connor & Tyson Harris) has been thrown into disarray due to David Hockley picking up a broken arm, which now leaves Tom with the difficult choice of either relinquishing the titles or facing Suit Up Society solo.
Head on down to Deception Bay this weekend to see Nightfall deliver a stacked night of action in Overdrive.

Also scheduled to take place are “The She Wolf” Leto taking on Chris Stevens, as well as a tag team contest between The Dad Squad (Mike Kelly & Nick Maltino) and Whiplex (Benny Whiplash & Apex Anderson).
A Hard Day’s Fight is shaping up to be well worth the wait and well worth the price of admission.
