MY THOUGHTS

Story, story, story. This episode was all about the stories. While there were only 4 matches on the show, it didn’t feel drawn out and it gave them time to breathe. MJF and Hangman is starting to build something that could potentially be a multi PPV set of matches.

Unfortunately, we did get one of the worst “save” segments ever with Thunder Rosa which has received a lot of criticism online and rightfully so. All in all, it was a decent episode of Dynamite, and it is looking like AEW is finding that feeling again.

MY THOUGHTS

It was always going to be hard to top Grand Slam Australia with regards to the quality. However. this was definitely up there. The start with Harley and Toni was an absolute perfect way to continue the story and lead into another match between the two.

Harley Cameron continues to shine brighter and brighter each week and hell; she even got the fans to chant for her “neighbour” which is an amazing feat. The one downfall for me was the main event. I honestly would have enjoyed it more if Bandido had won the match and the championship, but clearly Jericho is holding on to the title for a while.
