AEW announce Ring of Honor Global Wars Australia event for this Saturday
All Elite Wrestling made a blockbuster announcement across all of their social media accounts, revealing the return of the Ring of Honor Global Wars event, set to take place this Saturday night at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre before AEW Grand Slam, marking the first time since 2019 that the event will occur and the first time EVER that ROH will hold an event in Australia. The announcement also came with a complete match card, offering up four extra matches for the fans in attendance.
The lineup for this extra event is as follows:
Lee Moriarty defends the ROH Pure Championship against Australia’s own Robbie Eagles, who will be coming into the match less than 24 hours removed from his triple threat contest at the Australian Wrestling Super Show.
ROH World Champion Chris Jericho & his Learning Tree, in Big Bill & Bryan Keith, will take on the team of Bandido & The Outrunners (Truth Magnum & Turbo Floyd).
ROH World Tag Team Champions Dustin Rhodes & Sammy Guevara look to take their titles back from MxM Collection (Mansoor & Mason Madden), who have recently stolen the championships.
This new lineup of matches will see Athena look to continue her record smashing 796 day ROH Women’s Championship reign against Alex Windsor.
An already landmark night has just gotten even bigger so, if you haven’t yet, now is the time to grab tickets for AEW Grand Slam and enjoy Ring of Honor Global Wars Australia as an added bonus.
