All-Star Wrestling Australia are pulling out all the stops to ensure their February 22 event ‘Survival of the Fittest’ is simply can’t miss viewing with ‘The Greatest Man That Ever Lived’ Austin Aries plus former WWE Superstar and Hybrid Athlete Xyon Quinn aka Daniel Vidot to compete on the card alongside the talented All-Star roster.
‘A-Double’ will be making a number of appearances for All-Star, also taking part in their Summer Heat Tour which will hit Strathdale in Victoria and Bombala and Cobar in NSW. Aries will compete in a number of high profile matches on the tour, but perhaps the most high profile will be at Padstow RSL when he challenges Keegan Brettle one on one for the All-Star Wrestling Heavyweight Championship. Austin Aries brings an incredible pedigree of championship experience with him and this presents an incredible challenge for Brettle, who is closing in on 20 defences of the All-Star Wrestling Australia’s top prize.
Xyon Quinn has been announced as a participant in a twenty person over the top rope rumble match, competing against some of the best on All-Star’s roster for a title opportunity against the All-Star Wrestling Australia heavyweight champion. Quinn/Vidot is a high level athlete, playing in the National Rugby League for eight seasons, representing Samoa at an international level and playing in England and the USA. Importantly he spent six years in WWE’s system, competing on Raw, Smackdown and NXT, so will present a massive test to All-Star roster members looking to earn the biggest opportunity of their careers.

Another bald, bearded wrestling adjacent guy, fantastic…Got into Wrestling thanks to Optus Vision and Turner Classic Movies channel, which aired Nitro, then Foxtel when I finally got to enjoy WWE live each and every week. This evolved into a love of many a different iteration of the artform, but the one I’m passionate about the most is the high level on display across this country – The Australian professional wrestling scene! That’s why I’m here, that and I was far too uncoordinated to ever attempt to do it myself.
