SLAM! Pro Wrestling League Results

This past weekend, on March 29, SLAM! Pro Wrestling League returned to the UC Refectory in Canberra for a stacked, sold-out show, leaving only standing room by the time the action began.
The night kicked off with “The Hope from the Top Rope” Luke Watts defeating “Street King” Aaron Jake.
A little quick rewind to February 8, the match between Kingsley & Frankie B ended in a double count-out as both competitors brawled ringside. Later on during a backstage interview, Frankie B was confronted by Kingsley, after some heated words back and fourth this would turn it traded punches before the cameras were promptly cut. This would lead to their rematch at this past weekends show, which would bring high-stakes with a Loser Leaves SLAM! stipulation, Frankie B defeated Kingsley, she is now gone from SLAM!

The fan-favourite high energy duo The Dropouts (The Tuckman & Scott Green) defeated North Shore Wrestling (Will Kiedis & Sam Osborne) successfully retaining the SLAM! Tag Team championships.
‘The Top Shelf Athlete’ Mikey Broderick defeated ‘The Gift’ Robbie Thorpe, however following the match Mikey Broderick would be left layed out by Bronson United (Robbie Thorpe, Vinnie Bronson & Josh) after a triple power bomb through a table. ‘The Hooligan’ Vinnie Bronson defeated Lucas Fantasia via submission tap-out.
Rita Stone defeated Shay Kassidy successfully retaining her SLAM! Women’s championship.

The main event for the SLAM! Championship ended in controversy. Caveman Ugg as champion Dan Archer took the easy way out, delivering a low blow that resulted in a disqualification victory for Ugg—allowing Archer to keep the title. In response, SLAM!’s Board of Directors has officially ruled that at the next event, Caveman Ugg will challenge Dan Archer for the SLAM! Championship once again—this time under No Disqualification rules.
