CHEVS VS TROY: PWA’s Biggest Rivalry Set to Explode

Pro Wrestling Australia (PWA) is bringing its most personal and high stakes battle yet to The Factory Theatre with CHEVS VS TROY. This highly anticipated main event will see PWA Heavyweight Champion Jessica Troy defend her title against her former best friend turned bitter rival, Charli Evans, in a Last Wrestler Standing match on Friday, April 11, 2025.
This battle has been brewing since COLOSSEUM last year when Charli Evans shocked the wrestling world by betraying Troy and joining North Shore Wrestling. Their paths collided once again in December, resulting in Troy suffering an injury at the hands of Evans. Now, with emotions running high and the stakes higher than ever, the two will face off in a brutal, career-defining clash.
“April 11th is the culmination of 10 years of hard work, dedication, and sacrifice,” says “The Human Weapon” Charli Evans. “Since day one, I have represented PWA. I’ve taken PWA with me everywhere I go, and 10 years later, I am finally going to be able to call myself the face of this company.
“PWA has been CHEVS Country for a long time, and on April 11th at The Factory Theatre, we make it official! There is no one in the world, not even my ex-best friend, the greatest technical wrestler in Australia and the defending champion Jessica Troy, that could stop me from achieving what I truly deserve.”
For Jessica Troy, this match is more than just another title defense—it’s a deeply personal battle.
“This is the most emotional and heartbreaking match of my career,” Troy admits. “Not because of the betrayal and hurt I’ve felt from CHEVS, but because of what I’m going to do to her to make sure I am the last wrestler standing. And still, the PWA Heavyweight Champion.”
Beyond the headline clash, PWA fans will witness an electrifying night of wrestling action. Robbie Eagles will defend his Soul of PWA Championship against Jimmy Townsend, while an Over-the-Top-Rope Elimination Battle Royale featuring Jack Bonza, Big Fudge, Sullivan, Aaron Jake, Kai Drake, and Tony Sin will determine who secures the coveted #30 entry at King of the Metro. Ben Braxton takes on Hari Singh in a heated singles contest, and in Premiership Round 1, The Velocities (Paris De Silva and Jude London) team up with Velkan Wild to battle PPK (Franki B and Nikki Van Blair) and Marley Peleti. The PWA Tag Team Championship will also be on the line as Backslide Girlz (Shay Kassidy and Everett Connors) defend their titles against the The Regime (Ricky South and Backman).
This is an event no wrestling fan can afford to miss. The Factory Theatre will be the battleground where rivalries explode, dreams are shattered, and legends are made.
Doors open at 7:00 PM, with the action kicking off at 7:30 PM. Tickets are available for $39.66.
