Steph De Lander Announces New Autobiography

Current TNA star -and Australia’s own- Steph De Lander took to social media this morning to announce the launch of her new autobiography. Titled “What’s The Best That Could Happen? A Love Letter To Pro Wrestling”, this looks at the tumultuous and unique career of the 28 year old De Lander to this point.
The blurb on the back cover- shown in the Instagram post- features quotes from Drew McIntyre, Samoa Joe, Chelsea Green & Tommy Dreamer. The blurb self-describes SDL’s career as “anything but ordinary”, and a tough journey including “injuries, heartbreak and soul crushing setbacks”.
Steph De Lander began her career in 2017 on the Aussie independent scene, first as the masked Facebrooke, before changing it up to go (essentially) by her real name. SDL captured gold in Australia, including the MCW Women’s Championship. She wrestled in the 2021 PWA Rumble before going over to WWE and appearing on NXT 2.0. Although her run there was brief, she reinvented herself on the indies as Matt Cardona’s “heater” and is currently the TNA Digital Media Champion- by way of divorce in a very unique set of circumstances. Despite recovering from a neck injury, Steph made a triumphant return to TV and is a prominent part of TNA programming.
SDL’s autobiography can now be preordered at Barnes & Noble and Amazon, with orders shipping April 18th.
A man who loves his wrestling, MMA, and has been known to dabble in karaoke. Previously wrote for Snap Mayors Media and ran The Arena Media for several years. As many wrestling fans do, I often envisioned myself becoming a pro wrestling superstar, but having Cerebral Palsy makes that dream a tough one to attain. Did do a brief referee spot for Rock N Roll Wrestling and I’d love to do more non-wrestler roles if laying the Smackdown is out of my reach, but until then, I’ll be hitting you with some refreshing writing like an F5!
