Steph De Lander would like to reunite with Indi Hartwell in TNA, challenge for the Knockouts Tag Team Championships

As initially reported by Wrestle Inc, Steph De Lander was interviewed by Gabby AF in an informative 20 minute interview covering several topics, including working with Matt Cardona and fantasy booking. When asked about her dream version of the ‘Total Divas’ cast would look like, Steph De Lander mentioned her best friend Indi Hartwell who she believed would be very entertaining in a role on the popular E! reality show.
This lead to a follow up question to SDL as to whether she would like to see now free agent ‘Impressive’ sign with TNA and whether she knew anything about her joining the promotion.
“I do know that we have tagged together multiple times in the past in Australia and in WWE. So, I think, you know, she’s now a free agent, and TNA is always looking at new talent, and, you know, I want to win a championship in TNA, and she wants to as well. The Knockouts Tag Team Championships have been with Dani Luna and Jody Threat for far too long. So, I don’t know … if Indi wanted to come here, I’m sure there’s a place for her, and I’m sure we could pick back up where we left off and, do, you know, be Australia’s Hottest Commodities again. Yeah, so stay tuned on that,” De Lander told Gabby AF.
Indi and Steph both forged successful careers in Australia as singles competitors and began to team together on the independent circuit in 2019, before they were both signed to WWE. This gave them the opportunity to team together once again, tagging throughout 2021 and 2022 on NXT 2.0, even competing in the 2022 WWE Dusty Rhodes Tag Team classic.

Another bald, bearded wrestling adjacent guy, fantastic…Got into Wrestling thanks to Optus Vision and Turner Classic Movies channel, which aired Nitro, then Foxtel when I finally got to enjoy WWE live each and every week. This evolved into a love of many a different iteration of the artform, but the one I’m passionate about the most is the high level on display across this country – The Australian professional wrestling scene! That’s why I’m here, that and I was far too uncoordinated to ever attempt to do it myself.
