On February 11th 2025, Melbourne City Wrestling took to their social media accounts to announce that after 6 years with their company, Emman Azman would be departing and returning to his homeland of Malaysia.
In a heartfelt video to Instagram, Emman addressed the camera and thanked Australia and MCW for the opportunity that he has received while here.
“From 2019 wrestling in front of 40 people and a couple of chickens and roosters in a bar in Adelaide against J K Moody and Robbie Eagles, to wrestling in front of hundreds and thousands of people in sold out shows, big venues, important matches, I want to say thank you especially to the management, promotions, most importantly and notably MCW OPW RENEGADE, the managers, the bookers, personally thank you for trusting a Malaysian that was a nobody and is leaving Australia as a somebody and thank you for believing in me putting me to complete against your champions, even becoming a champion representing your companies bringing those titles to different countries and even defending it out of Australia I just want to say thank you so much.“
“When I came to Australia, I had a list of people I wanted to wrestle and it had Robbie, Brooksie, Mick Moretti, it’s crazy to think of the fact that I have wrestled each and every one of them throughout my career in Australia.”
In 2022, Emman successfully competed in the Ascension Tournament and won the tournament as well as later that year went on to become the MCW Intercommonwealth Champion and most recently he joined forces with Carlo Cannon and Zhan Wen to form the Midnight3 faction.
