Tag Team Dream Team in Brisbane
In just three short weeks’ time, the crew from All Elite Wrestling will be gracing the shores of Australia with their first ever event in the Southern Hemisphere when they bring to us Grand Slam Australia at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre on Saturday Feb 15th.
For those of you who were watching Dynamite this week, AEW confirmed a blockbuster dream team for their first excursion to the land down under as Kenny Omega and Will Ospreay will team up to take on the Don Callis Families Konosuke Takeshita and Kyle Flecther.
I hear you all asking the question, since when would Kenny and Will team up together? Especially knowing their history and it was only in 2023 that Ospreay tried to take Omega out with a screwdriver. Well, the answer is quite simple. Kenny and Will suffer from a common enemy and that is Don Callis.
It remains to be seen how well the two men will function as a unit. Will the past transgressions be put to the side? Or will it all blow up in their face?
