Jordynne Grace Expected to Sign with WWE After TNA Contract Expiration
Jordynne Grace has long been a fan favourite before Total Nonstop Action Wrestling’s partnership with WWE, being a three-time TNA/Impact Wrestling Knockouts Champion, Knockouts Tag Team Champion, and Digital Media Champion. The partnership between the two promotions has proven popular amongst fans, with Grace being one of the major stars crossing over to WWE, specifically to the NXT brand.
With TNA’s annual year-opening event, Genesis, in the rear-view mirror, Jordynne Grace stood across the ring from the returning Tessa Blanchard. In a losing effort that marked the possible end of Grace’s time with Total Nonstop Action Wrestling.
At the event’s conclusion, Grace was presented with a signed replica of the TNA Knockouts Championship, a gesture symbolising her success during her tenure with the promotion.
Additionally, following Genesis, TNA removed Jordynne Grace from their website’s roster section. A report from Mike Johnson of PWInsider claimed that Grace was present at the WWE Performance Centre on January 21st (January 22nd for Australia) and will be there for the remainder of the week. Johnson also presented the belief that WWE creative is planning for her to be in the Women’s Royal Rumble Match.
Grace appeared in the Rumble match with the TNA Knockouts Championship around her waist in 2024, making her official debut for the WWE. She went on to compete in several other matches, including challenging for the NXT Women’s Championship at NXT Battleground, and defending the TNA Knockouts Championship on NXT television.
