Brisvegas In The Spotlight: Aussie Supershow, plus NJPW Tamashii

Brisvegas in the spotlight.

Next month, all eyes will be on Brisbane as AEW arrives for its Grand Slam Australia debut on Saturday 15 February. Promising absolute mayhem, the show has drawn national attention and hopes to emulate the WWE’s success in Perth last year.

It will be an action-packed weekend, with promotions and wrestling fans descending on Brisvegas for a good time in the River City. Leading the charge locally are two Queensland promotions that will host an exciting lineup of Queensland, national and international talent.

Pro Wrestling League will kick off the weekend with partners Renegades of Wrestling, hosting the Australian Wrestling Supershow on Friday 14 February at the legendary Eatons Hill Hotel.
Pro Wrestling League are known for high-quality shows where production, talent and athleticism are all on point. PWL are fan favourites, drawing some of the biggest and most passionate crowds in Brisbane. The Supershow will be an explosive start to the weekend.

The lineup already includes a ROW women’s championship match with Lena Cross vs Aysha vs Lil Marz, Battle of the Beasts with Rip Rielly vs Caveman Ugg and Champions vs All Stars tag team match featuring Matt Hayter. This is a great opportunity to see awesome talent and be seen, with an open-door policy for surprise guests.

Red Castle Entertainment will host a show on Sunday 16 February, presenting the New Japan Pro Wrestling Tamashii Queensland debut and afterparty at Superordinary.

Red Castle Entertainment presents iconic characters and hard-hitting action, with Queensland talent appearing alongside Australian stars at regular shows held at Mansfield Tavern. They have partnered with NJPW Australia to present the inaugural Tamashii show in Queensland.

The lineup will include Australian stars such as Erika Reid and Jack Bonza alongside the Tamashii roster headed by international star, the Rogue General and Bullet Club Founder Toks Fale. Now is the chance to see future stars of New Japan Pro Wrestling as they make their way from the New Zealand Dojo, ready to compete on Australian soil with a dream to one day appear at Wrestle Kingdom.
