Aussie Profile: JXT

Hello everyone! Before we dive in, I’d like to take a moment to introduce myself. My name is Matty, and I’ve been a passionate wrestling fan since 2006, with my introduction being the WWE. How I attended my first local wrestling show is actually a bit of a funny story. I was visiting Bendigo at the time and had a craving for Hungry Jack’s. The closest location was in Kangaroo Flat, which meant a 30-minute bus ride. Little did I know, that specific Hungry Jack’s was a sponsor for a wrestling promotion. After finishing my meal, I noticed something under the burger wrappers on my food tray—a flyer for Outback Championship Wrestling, headlined by none other than Shelton Benjamin. Being such a huge fan of WWE in during the Ruthless Aggression, I knew I had to attend. While I went to see a global wrestling star, it was the Aussie performers who truly blew me away that night. That sparked a captivation for Australian wrestling that continues to this day

Through these profiles, my goal is to provide both Australian and international fans with an insight into the incredible talent that exists within the Australian wrestling scene. These articles will highlight the achievements and impact of wrestlers, showcasing why they deserve to be celebrated on a larger scale. One wrestler who has always stood out to me since first attending shows is JXT, which is why I’ve chosen him as the focus of my first wrestler profile. I’m excited to share his story with you. Now, let’s take a closer look at the career of “The JayStick” himself—JXT
