PWDU 2024 Top 15 Women Downunder List
Below is our annual PWdownunder.com ‘Downunder Top 15 Women’ list. The list is based on the wrestler character/persona and events/matches that took place in 2024 on Australian soil.
Criteria for consideration…
Activity (consistently appearing for several promotions or one promotion) in-ring achievements (matches won, championships held, tournaments won etc), quality/standard of opponents, quality/standard of promotions worked for, wrestling ability.
Wrestlers who competed in established tag teams throughout 2024 will not have those tag matches count towards a ranking. International wrestlers who performed in Australia do qualify for a ranking.

10. Charli Evans (NSW – PWA, IWA). King Of The Metro Rumble winner back in June, spent half of the year competing overseas, Aussie fans would love to see more of “CHEVS’ performing across Australia in 2025. This year’s special mention for Aussies Abroad Independent winner, read more here.
9. Cherry Stephens (NSW – PWA, IWA & BCW). A relatively quiet year from the former BCW Women’s champion after ranking 5th in 2023 and 4th in 2022. Read from Cherry herself right here. Fans may have potentially seen the last of Cherry Stephens, PWDU thanks Cherry for all she has done in Australian wrestling.
8. Aysha (VIC – ROW). Renegades Of Wrestling Women’s Champion for all of 2024. Ranked 4th in 2023. Ranked #135 in PWI’s Women’s 250.
7. Kingsley (NSW – PWA, SLAM, IWA, OPW). Slam Pro Wrestling League Women’s Champion for the majority of 2024. Highly entertaining.
6. Lena Kross (WA – NHPW, PWA, WSW, IWA) The always impressive Kross is a clear stand out on any card. Deserving of a higher ranking with more bookings Downunder, IndyGurlz Australia Champion. 5. Rita Stone (NSW – Newy Pro, SLAM, IWA). An absolute workhorse on the NSW scene, Newy Pro Middleweight and Women’s champion in 2024, finished the year defeating Kingsley for the Slam Women’s Title. Ranked 11th in 2023 and 10th in 2022, no doubt some career progression in 2024. Ranked #125 in PWI’s Women’s 250.
4. Eugenie (QLD – All-Star, IPW, MCW). A stand out year for Eugenie having held the All-Star Wrestling Australia Women’s title for most of 2024, six months as IPW Women’s champion in 2024, finished the year with a win over Erika Reid for the MCW Women’s belt.
3. Erika Reid (VIC – Mayhem, MCW, OPW, ACW). Erika’s captivating presence and ability to draw emotion and attention from a crowd is an asset to any promotion. Ranked 10th in 2023. Extremely versatile in any in-ring scenario. A near six-month reign as MCW Women’s champion, defeated the likes of Aysha, Delta, Stephens, Kingsley and Eugenie in 2024. Competed in NSW, VIC, SA & WA.
2. DELTA (SA – RCW, MCW, NHPW, WR). After ranking No.1 in 2022 and No.1 again in 2023 the former RCW Grand Champion would not be out of place with another No.1 ranking for 2024. After being signed to the WWE DELTA would miss six months of matches from June 2024. Delta would still have a massively impressive year holding the RCW Women’s Title, MCW Women’s Title, RCW Grand Championship and the MCW Intercommonwealth Championship. - Jessica Troy (NSW – PWA, IWA). After ranking No. 2 in 2022 and No. 2 again in 2023 ‘The Arm Collector’ Jessica Troy now claims our No.1 spot for 2024. Competed for the AAA Reina de Reinas Championship in Australia, won the 2024 PWA Colosseum tournament in October, defended the PWA Heavyweight title throughout 2024. Ranked #166 by PWI. Wins over Rita Stone, Cherry Stephens, Charli Evans, Lena Kross and Delta. The fighting spirt of Jessica Troy was definitely on display in 2024.
