PWdownunder.com has released the Top 10 Australian Tag Teams for the year 2024.

The list is based on events and matches that took place in 2024 on Australian soil.

Criteria for consideration…

Activity / In demand by promotions. (bookings in multiple states or appearing for several promotions in one state)
In-ring achievements (matches won, championships held, milestones etc)
Level or standard of opponents.
Quality or standard of promotions worked for.
Wrestling ability.

10. (WA) Australian Takeover (Julian Ward & Kaz Jordan) Defeated DNT for the EPW Tag Team titles in September, won a STW Tag Team Title contenders Gauntlet match in October.

9. (VIC) The Black Diamonds (Jason Blade & Seth Tanner) PCW Tag Team Champions

8. (VIC) The Natural Classics (Stevie Filip & Tome Filip) NJPW & WSW appearances, spent most of 2024 overseas.

7. (VIC) The Ambush (Jarvis & Murdoch w/Ashya & Emman) Defeated The Velocities for the ROW Tag Team titles in January, defended the belts at WrestleRock and Mayhem Pro, stayed Renegade champions throughout 2024.
