Last Minute Call- JXT Steps Up To Face Former WWE/NXT Star! (W/ FULL VIDEO)
The powers that be were looking for a little news outside of my usual NSW bubble, and luckily the state of Victoria has obliged me with some cool happenings as of late. Here we have an example of the mantra “always be ready”, as the flashy JXT showed last weekend (Nov 30).
JXT stepped in on short notice to wrestle former WWE/NXT Superstar Bobby Fish on a MXW show. JXT recounts on his X account (@JXT_Official_) that he got the call at 4pm on a Saturday and wrestled Fish on 5 hours notice.
Later, on Dec 4, JXT shared some brief match highlights on his account.
Originally scheduled in the Jaystick’s spot was Ritchie Taylor, but was unable to appear at the event due to “circumstances beyond anyone’s control”, per ring announcer Jem Stone. JXT arrived to main event MXW All For One 2. Although Bobby Fish would prevail in the contest with a devastating avalanche Falcon Arrow, JXT would gain a lot as well by appearing in such a high profile match and more than holding his own.
At the time of writing, JXT is scheduled to appear in the Intercommonwealth Championship No. 1 Contender’s Battle Royal at the huge MCW Endgame event tomorrow, proving himself to be a man willing to seize any available opportunity.

A man who loves his wrestling, MMA, and has been known to dabble in karaoke. Previously wrote for Snap Mayors Media and ran The Arena Media for several years. As many wrestling fans do, I often envisioned myself becoming a pro wrestling superstar, but having Cerebral Palsy makes that dream a tough one to attain. Did do a brief referee spot for Rock N Roll Wrestling and I’d love to do more non-wrestler roles if laying the Smackdown is out of my reach, but until then, I’ll be hitting you with some refreshing writing like an F5!
