ALWAYS READY – ROH Spoiler
In news coming out of the Ring of Honor tapings – Former WSW World Champion, ALWAYS READY MATT CARDONA made his debut to challenge ROH World Champion Chris Jericho at Final Battle.
Cardona has a spent a good part of 2024 recovering from a torn pectoral muscle which he suffered in April.
In a statement on X provided by Sean Ross Sapp – GCW owner Brett Lauderdale had this to say.
“I’m Excited for Matt and excited for the fans. It will be a fun atmosphere at The Hammerstein Ballroom for AEW and I think things may have just gotten a little more interesting for GCW’s return to The Hammerstein Ballroom on January 19th.”
It is currently unknown if Cardona has put pen to paper and signed with AEW / ROH.
This does bring in to question the current relationship with GCW and AEW / ROH since the recent interviews with Effy.
