Tuesday RAW 20th of November
RAW: 20/11/24
Channel: Foxtel WWE Channel/Kayo/Binge
RAW this week featured two big matches with Bron Breakker defending his title against Sheamus. The second match was the rematch between Seth Rollins and Bronson Reed which would have War Games implications. Else where each team for the Women’s War Games match finds their fifth member as the match becomes official for Survivor Series.
Women’s War Games
Liv Morgan would begin RAW by introducing her War Games team consisting of Nia Jax, Candice Lerae, Tiffany Stratton and Raquel Rodriguez. To answer this Jade Cargill, Bianca Belair and Naomi would also come out and introduce their backup in Iyo Sky. Liv Morgan would point out that her team had five people whereas Bianca’s team only had four. To even the odds Rhea Ripley would return as she’d storm her way to Liv and scream War Games at her face. A brawl would then break out as Rhea would chase away Liv and Iyo Sky would wipe out Nia, Tiffany and Candice with a Moon Sault as Bianca’s team would stand tall.
Bron Breakker VS Sheamus
Bron Breakker would defend the Intercontinental Championship against Sheamus after they tied on WWE Speed. The match was a hard-hitting affair that saw Breakker kick out of moves such as a White Noise from the top rope and a Big Knee from Sheamus. Sheamus was also able to survive a Frankensteiner and a Spear from Breakker. The match would come to a premature end as Ludwig Kaiser would take out a charging Bron Breakker. Kaiser would then turn towards the down Sheamus whose head he drove into the steel stairs. Kaiser would then remind Sheamus that he had promised to end him.
Dom and Carlito vs War Raiders
Dominic Mysterio and Carlito would try and soften up the War Raiders before they face Finn Balor and JD McDonough for the tag titles. The match wouldn’t end up in their favour though as the War Raiders would dominate most of the match through pure power. Carlito was the one to take the pin as the War Raider hit him with War Machine to win the match. During their celebrations, Finn and JD would come and take them out as they focused their attacks on the necks of both Eric and Ivar. With the War Raider looking so dominant now they may likely be new champions, but Judgement Day may still find a way to win.
Other Highlights:
- Rey Mysterio and Zelina Vega defeated Chad Gable and Ivy Nile in a mixed tag match
- The Final Testament brags about outsmarting Wyatt Sicks. Howdy would then apologise for what’s about to happen.
- Gunther attacked Damian Priest backstage with a sleeper, but Priest broke the hold as Priest showed Gunther that he was the king of the streets.
- Rollins won’t join the New Bloodline as he doesn’t want to put Roman back in power.
Seth Rollins VS Bronson Reed
Immediately as the match started both Bloodlines would enter ringside and take each other out leaving Seth and Reed to themselves. Seth would try his best to use his agility to get the better of Reed but would get overpowered constantly. Reed would survive through his head being bashed against the steps as he would land a sit-down Power Bomb on Seth that Seth kicked out of. Seth would slowly work his way back into the match and manage a pedigree and a frog splash that Reed kicked out of. Seth would then hit a stomp and set up a top rope stomp to end Reed as Solo Sikoa would distract Seth’s ringside. Reed would use the opportunity to set Seth up for a tsunami that would win him the match. With Seth getting involved with Bloodline, it makes him nearly certain for War Games.
Another good RAW this week as they continue to build into Survivor Series. With both War Games matches being set next week will feature the advantage matches for War Games. The Intercontinental and Tag Division is also getting more interesting with Kaiser’s interference and the War Raider carrying momentum against Judgement Day.
