Tuesday Morning Raw October 29

With Crown Jewel this weekend Raw would build into the upcoming PLE. The Uso’s would reunite before their match against the Bloodline and Seth Rollins and Bronson Reed would brawl through the parking lot. The number 1 contenders final for the tag team championships would also take place while Dominic Mysterio would have his match against a former World Champion.
The Uso’s
Raw would start with Jey Uso telling the Bloodline that the reason he cost the Bloodline their titles is because they cost him the Intercontinental Championship. Jimmy would then come to the ring and thank him while also thinking that Jey is now back with the original Bloodline. Jey didn’t want to be part of the Bloodline again but would agree to meet with Roman on Smackdown this week to talk to him. The Bloodline would then come out and attack the Uso’s who would manage to work together as a team to take them out. Later in the night The Uso’s would run into Sami Zayn who would try and tell Jey Uso that he doesn’t have to get involved with this. The Uso’s would later find Sami Zayn in the parking lot conversing with Solo Sikoa.
Seth Rollins and Bronson Reed
Seth Rollins would enter the ring excited for this weekend’s match as he feels that Bronson Reed has brought the monster within Seth Rollins. Reed would then appear on the screen in the parking lot, telling Seth that if he wants to go monster hunting, he should come and get him. Seth would run to the parking lot fighting through security to get to Bronson Reed. Seth would win the first half by getting Reed onto the Bonnet of a car where he would Stomp his head. Reed would come back alive though as the two would fight inside the technical truck. Bronson Reed would pick Seth up and Death Valley Driver him outside the truck into tables. Later on in the night, it would be reported that Seth was sent to the hospital complaining about back pain. With momentum being the way it is right now Bronson Reed looks set to get what should be the biggest win of his career.
New Day VS LWO VS War Raiders
This was the final in the Number 1 contenders’ tournament for the Tag Team titles as the War Raiders would start strong showing off their reinvented selves. Later, in the match Xavier Woods took out Rey Mysterio as he was met with an unhappy crowd to Woods’s confusion. With the tag of Rey Mysterio’s partner Dragon Lee, the LWO would take control of the match. The LWO and the New Day would be fighting it out as Xavier Woods wasted a potential match-winning moment as he would take out Rey Mysterio instead of Dragon Lee. This would result in the LWO having the advantage, but Chad Gable would ruin the pin attempt from Rey Mysterio as he would drag him out of the ring and apply the ankle lock. The War Raiders would take advantage as they’d take out the New Day to win the match. The War Raiders are a great choice for the team that will hopefully take the tag titles off the Judgement Day so that the titles begin to matter again.
Other Highlights:
- Sheamus would defeat Ludwig Kaiser to get into contention for the Intercontinental Championship.
- Ivy Nile would defeat Zelina Vega
- The Miz attempted to apologise to R-Truth who slapped Miz in the face and wished him luck with the Wyatts
Dominic Mysterio Vs Damian Priest
Dominic Mysterio would go up against a former World Heavyweight Champion Damian Priest in his attempt to get an opportunity for the World Heavyweight Championship. Dom would start the match by attacking Damian before the bell, but Damian would overpower him. Damian would keep momentum throughout most of the match until he would roll out of the ring to avoid a South of Heaven Choke Slam. The Judgement Day would use this opportunity to attack Priest while Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez distracted the referee. Priest however would fight back and take out the Judgement Day with a steel chair. Dominic would take advantage of the situation as he would get a roll-up pin on a distracted Damian Priest to win the match. Priest would lash out as he would Razor Edge Dom, followed by a barrage of chair attacks and a South of Heaven Choke Slam to finish him off. With Dominic winning this match it does put him into championship contention but with the post-match attack, it is a question of whether he will be fit to compete.
This week RAW worked well in balancing the upcoming Crown Jewel while also showcasing RAW storylines. There was some great storytelling as the Uso’s were seen throughout the night with Sami Zayn. The Tag Tournament and the Main event were also good matches although there were still some less interesting moments with other matches through the night.
