Zaria takes the ring by storm: Aussie’s journey comes full circle with official WWE debut
Aussie powerhouse Zaria (formerly known as DELTA) has made her grand entrance into the WWE universe with her official debut at this year’s NXT Halloween Havoc.
The young star, originally from Queensland but best known for her time at Adelaide’s Riot City Wrestling, quickly shot to the top of the ranks since she made her wrestling debut in 2020.
She first started her career in wrestling after attending local RCW shows with her brother Dean Brady, before joining him in a tag team known affectionately across Adelaide as Brady LTD.
Zaria continued to become the Strength Cup 2023 winner, before also picking up both the RCW title, MCW Intercommonwealth, and Women’s Title all in a matter of weeks.
She was the first ever woman in RCW history to wear the championship belt in what was a history-making night for the local scene.
Adelaide and Melbourne weren’t the only states she quickly dominated though, with Zaria moving on to wrestle across Australia taking on opponents like TNA’s Jordynne Grace.
Her departure from RCW was officially announced back in April of this year, and she has since gone on to leave a lasting impact on us Adelaide fans with several impressive final matches.
After months of speculation overseas, WWE finally dropped the first teaser for the Aussie star last month, which quickly got the attention of the international scene.
After a quick glimpse at her gimmick and new name on NXT last week, Zaria made her presence known to both the WWE locker room and the world watching on on today’s Halloween Havoc.
After briefly showing her face while looking down at the end of Giulia and Stephanie Vaquer’s match, Zaria showed up after Fallon Henle defeated Kelani Jordan in a Gauntlet Match to win the NXT Women’s North American Championship.
Instead of kindly introducing herself to the women’s division, Zaria let loose on the girls, hitting an impressive F6 and a signature spear.
The attack was nothing less than what we Aussie fans were expecting from the powerhouse, and she is now set to make her official in-ring debut on next week’s episode of NXT.
In a post made to Facebook, the RCW team further celebrated Zaria’s success with a post honoring her time with the promotion.

“She quickly became one of the most decorated and dominating forces not only in #RCW, but all over Australian Pro-Wrestling during her relatively short time competing in this country,” they said.
“We are proud and honored to say ZARIA got her start right here at the Riot City Wrestling Academy.”
I remember seeing Delta at my first in-person wrestling event and was instantly blown away by her power and sheer willingness to be a badass woman who wasn’t afraid to destroy the locker room.
Us Adelaide fans and RCW-goers are over the moon and couldn’t be prouder to see another successful local face bring the Aussie heat to the overseas scene, and cannot wait to see what the future holds.
Congratulations Zaria!
