Bronson King Returns To Face The Kingmaker
Bronson King, a forgotten name on the New South Wales scene will return to the ring on Friday October 25 for Australian Wrestling Superstars. Bronson has been away from full time competition for over a decade, the former IWA Heavyweight and Trans-Tasman champion will compete against the current AWS Heavyweight champion “The Kingmaker” Tyson Gibbs at the ‘Return of The King’ event in Bexley, New South Wales.
Before portraying the ‘Bronson King’ name he was known as “The Captain” around the NSW scene working for promotions such as UWA in Wollongong, AWF, UWF and IWA. ‘The Captain’ was a persona based on a local cricket player with moves such as, 6 And Out Reverse DDT and The Howzaaat.
Australian Wrestling Superstars will also hold a big event this coming weekend at the Polish Club in Ashfield (tickets click here) on Saturday, October 12. Bronson King’s opponent on October 25 “The Kingmaker” Tyson Gibbs will put the AWS Heavyweight title on the line, he took to social media to say “I’m in the most dominant reign of my career and I’ll be damned if that comes to an end on Saturday”
