TCW announce Southern Tasmania debut for Breakout
Tasmanian Championship Wrestling has today announced their very first show in the Southern region of Tasmania, planning to run Breakout at the South East Stadium in Sorell. Breakout will be on November 23rd and feature all the big stars of Tasmanian Championship Wrestling.
TCW has in the past made plans to travel to Southern Tasmania to host a show, there were plans to host a show at Hobart’s Aurora Sports Stadium at Creek Road which hosts the Hobart Chargers and southern netball as well.
This marks the first time wrestling has ever been hosted at the South East Stadium, and the first time since NAW toured Tasmania that Southern Tasmania has hosted professional wrestling. Before this, Hobart hosted Dennis Rodman’s Superstars of Wrestling in 2000 at the Derwent Entertainment Centre, known now as MyState Arena.
This event follows TCW’s Jaded event on October 12th that is being hosted by the Elphin Sports Centre, a staple of TCW events since it’s inception. TCW has held events in other parts of the states north but will now debut in the state’s south.
