Asuka Renews Contract with WWE
Asuka will be in the WWE for years to come as she has recently resigned with the company.
According to Mike Johnson from PWInsider Asuka has signed a new multi year deal with the WWE, exact details of the contract and how many years it will be active for is currently unknown.
Asuka has been absent from the company since May where she and her tag team partner Kairi Sane lost a match for the Women’s Tag Team Championship against Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair at WWE Backlash.
The reason for her absence is injury as she just underwent knee surgery and the return date of this injury is currently unclear, but the WWE resigning her contract during this period indicates that both parties have a long term commitment to each other.
