Match Card
Zero Hour
1. Three Way Trios Match
The Undisputed Kingdom (Roderick Strong, Matt Tavern and Mike Bennett) vs The Beast Mortos and Shane Taylor Promotions (Shane Taylor and Lee Moriarty) vs Action Andretti and Top Flight (Dante Martin and Darius Martin) (with Leila Grey)
This will be your typical multi man match. It could go any way. I give the win to the Undisputed Kingdom
Winner: The Undisputed Kingdom
2. Trios Match
Bang Bang Gang (Juice Robinson, Austin Gunn and Colten Gunn) vs Cage of Agony (Brian Cage, Bishop Kaun and Toa Liona)
I feel this match is here just to give Bang Bang Gang something to do. They’ve been on a roll. They get the win here
Winner: Bang Bang Gang
Main Show
3. AEW International Championship
Will Ospreay (c) vs Pac
Pac won a Fatal Way Match against Claudio Castagnoli, Kyle Fletcher and Tomohiro Ishii to earn the opportunity to fight for the International Championship at All Out. Since winning that match, Will Ospreay has lost the championship to MJF, who had rebranded it to the American Championship. Ospreay won the championship back at All In, reverting it back to the International Championship. This week be a great match. Pac is hungry to regain the championship. My money is on Ospreay to retain the championship.
Winner: Will Ospreay
4. AEW World Tag Team Championship
The Young Bucks (Matthew Jackson and Nicholas Jackson) vs Blackpool Combat Club (Claudio Castagnoli and Wheeler Yuta)
So, this match is a thing. BCC seems to be a thing of the past (Mox is off doing his thing, Danielson is needing retirement and focusing on the World Championship), and the Young Bucks are becoming a figment of their former selves. Claudio and Wheeler are the current Trios Champions alongside Pac. That alone has me picking the Young Bucks to retain.
Winner: The Young Bucks
5. Chicago Street Fight
Willow Nightingale vs Kris Statlander (with Stokley Hathaway)
This will be the most violent match in this rivalry. Willow chose this match up after winning her Tag Team Match at All In (Willow and Tomohiro Ishii vs Statlander and Stokely). Willow has been in plenty of street fights in AEW, and if my memory serves me well, Willow has been in the most street fights in AEW, or at least in the women’s division. This edge has me picking Willow to win.
Winner: Willow Nightingale
6. AEW Continental Championship
Kazuchika Okada vs Mark Briscoe vs Orange Cassidy vs Konosuke Takeshita
The 3 challengers won singles matches on Collision to earn spots in this match. Mark Briscoe and OC have been a formidable team lately. Konosuke hasn’t been up to much. Okada will retain
Winner: Kazuchika Okada
7. Singles Match
MJF vs Daniel Garcia
This has been a fairly solid rivalry. Unfortunately, it’s come at the cost of Garcia being easily taken out and busted open regularly. For that, I have Garcia winning.
Winner: Daniel Garcia
8. AEW TBS Championship
Mercedes Moné (c) vs Hikaru Shida
Hikaru won a fatal 4 way match to earn this shot. Kamille has been barred from ringside. This should be a good match. I have a feeling that Hikaru will win this.
Winner: Hikaru Shida
9. AEW World Championship
Bryan Danielson (c) vs Jack Perry
Danielson issued an open challenge to everyone in the lockerroom to a match for his championship. Jack Perry accepted it on the basis that he pinned Danielson in the Anarchy in the Arena match at Double or Nothing. Danielson has also stated that he won’t step down from full time wrestling until he loses the championship. That loss won’t come here
Winner: Bryan Danielson
10. Unsanctioned Lights Out Steel Cage Match
Swerve Strickland (with Prince Nana) vs “Hangman” Adam Page
This has been one of the most personal rivalries in AEW stemming back to last year. In the build up to this particular match, Swerve had bought his childhood home, just for Pagei burn out down during the contract signing too make the steel cage match official. Because of that, Tony Khan has turned it to an Unsanctioned Lights Out Steel Cage Match. This match will be violent and bloody. They’ll most likely fight all over the arena (steel cage matches in AEW are nothing like steel cage matches in other promotions). I have Swerve winning this.
Winner: Swerve Strickland
