Ten Questions With “Timeless” Toni Storm

Ten questions with “Timeless” Toni Storm for Pro Wrestling Downunder

What are you most excited about for the AEW Grand Slam Australia?

I’m so excited to finally be able to wrestle in Brisbane again. It’s been so many years and it’s very rare I can do a show so close to home, where friends and family will be there watching. I couldn’t be more thrilled.

What drives you to be at the top of your game?

My commitment. I’ve been going hard at this for the last 15 years. I never stopped and that’s why I’ve been able to become successful. There was no time when I’ve thought of giving up, even when it was unbearable, and I’ve just stuck it out.

How did you become “Timeless” Toni Storm?

It’s just me, this is who I truly am. For the longest time I’ve been playing different roles and doing different acts, but Timeliness Toni Storm is who I truly am.

What sort of wrestling legacy do you want to leave?

I will go down as the greatest wrester of all time.

Are there any wrestling matches or achievements still on your bucket list?

That’s a tough question as there isn’t much that I haven’t achieved. I have done it all, been everywhere, seen it all. My next big thing will be Suncorp Stadium. I will be able to come home and perform for my fellow countrymen and make them very proud of me.

How did it feel when you won the AEW Women’s World Championship and what are the odds of you winning it back from Mariah May in Australia?

It felt like that is the way it should have always been and very normal. It was absolutely deserved.
I would say the odds are pretty high. At least a 100% chance. At least.

What have you missed about Australia that you are enjoying on your visit?

The thing that’s thrilled me the most is finally having a decent cup of coffee. I don’t know what the hell they try to serve you in America. I love a latte.

What are your thoughts on the Australian wrestling scene?

I think everyone is very impressive and I am very proud of everyone but unfortunately they will never be as successful as me, so I apologise for that.

Do you have any advice for up-and-coming wrestlers wanting to be like you?

Maybe learn a trade. Good luck.

Any final words on your upcoming show at Suncorp Stadium on 15 February 2025?

Watch for the thong!
