3: Punk Is Finished With Drew McIntyre.

CM Punk and Drew McIntyre have been at odds since Punk’s surprise return at Survivor Series 2023. After months of tension, the two squared off in a strap match in Berlin, with Punk coming out on top. Afterwards, Punk would claim he is done with Drew McIntyre and alludes to his desire to challenge for the World Heavyweight Championship:

It’s definitely the end of me and Drew McIntyre. What’s next for me is I’m gonna take a long hot shower, I’m gonna try to find some donuts, and I’ve got myself a main event to watch, because I’m very interested in the result, Gunther vs. Randy Orton. Some people like to say may the best man win, but in this case, may the best man win because the better man is coming for you. I want the gold. I’m coming for you sucka.

1: A Passing Of The Torch.

As if Gunther hasn’t already made history as one of the most dominant and formidable monsters in WWE history, champion or not, getting the stamp of approval from Randy Orton will certainly seal the deal. Gunther ended the night by forcing The Viper to pass out, retaining the World Heavyweight Championship in the process.
