MJF and Will Ospreay Face to Face
The two entered the ring and then had a back and forth discussion about who is the best in AEW.
Ospreay criticises MJF for the main event of All In the previous year and how instead of it being a good match it was just two friends having an argument. Then says that what took MJF four years Ospreay was able to do in four months.
MJF then says he does not care about winning over the crowd like Ospreay, he only cares about winning.
After the two went back and forth for a while MJF accidentally admitted in a moment of weakness that he is jealous of how easily Ospreay won over the crowd.
MJF then taunted Ospreay about his wife, Ospreay then turns to the commentary desk and asked how much the fine is to hit MJF they tell jim its 100k Ospreay then decided it’s worth it and attacks MJF.
Security pulls Ospreay away this enabled MJF to hit Ospreay with the Dynamite ring leaving him covered in blood.
Claudio Castignoli VS Okada (C ) – Continental Championship
The two went back and forth in the match which had a 20 minute time limit it was extremely close and as Castignoli got the upper hand in the matches final minutes he could not get it done so the match ended in a draw.
The Young Bucks then entered the ring and teased adding 5 more minutes to the match but then went back on their word.
The Final Showdown between Swerve Strickland and Bryan Danielson
The showdown is being moderated by Nigel McGuinnes long time rival of Danielson. Swerve enters first and Nigel gives him a biassed introduction.
Swerve then explains that Danielson is extremely worn down and despite him being a legend that he will easily beat him. He then claims he is upset about how Danielson has been talking about his retirement in the build up to their match.
As Nigel is going to introduce Danielson, Swerve stops him and continues to discuss how he will be there to beat him down no matter what even in front of Danielson’s family.
Upon the mention of his family Danielson’s music hits and he runs to the wing and hits Swerve with a running knee.
He then gets on the mic and says that he is the best in the world and if Swerve wants to win that he is going to have to kill him.
