Sid Eudy began his wrestling career in the 1980s for Memphis wrestling territory Continental Wrestling Association. He would make his name known worldwide from 1989 onwards however, when he made his debut for World Championship Wrestling as a member of The Skyscrapers tag team alongside Dan Spivey. Sid would transition from Sid Vicious to Sid Justice in 1992 upon signing for the WWE. That year he would begin a feud with Hulk Hogan, leading to the two headlining WrestleMania 8. This wouldn’t be the only WrestleMania Sid would headline. This time as Sycho Sid, he was unsuccessful in his attempt to defend the WWE Championship against The Undertaker at WrestleMania 13 in 1997. He would also headline one Starrcade, challenging the WCW Champion Scott Steiner to a match in 2000, which Sid lost.
Sid’s last match for WCW occurred during the WCW Sin event in 2001. While attempting a big boot from the second rope to Scott Steiner, Sid landed on one leg causing it to snap under his weight.
Sid’s professional career was virtually over by thus point. He would make sporadic independent appearances, with his final match being in 2017 in Canada. Sid had one more match for WWE in 2012, a television squash match against Heath Slater.
