Bryan Danielson Requires Surgery
Injuries are a one of the biggest risks in professional wrestling. From broken bones to torn muscles to concussions. One wrestler who has suffered his fair share of injuries is AEWs Bryan Danielson. During his run with WWE, Danielson was forced to step down from active competition due to concussion related issues for 3 years before being cleared to return to in ring action.
Even during his current run with AEW, Danielson has suffered a number of injuries. And on the August 11th episode of AEW Collision, Danielson revealed during an interview with WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross, that his neck would require surgery before years end.
The American Dragon announced earlier this year that 2024 would be his last year of full time wrestling before transitioning to part time activity, but with the news that his neck is in need of surgery, his World Championship match against current champion Swerve Strickland at All In London could very well be his last. Only time will tell if the BCC member will be able to finish off the year, or ever be cleared to ever wrestle again.
