Welcome back to ALL ELITE WEEKLY where we go over the key moments and stories that took place during AEW weekly TV programming so that you will be in the know for this upcoming weeks programming if you missed anything last week.
DYNAMITE
MJF and Will Ospreay Trade Words
The show opened with MJF entering the ring to address the South Carolina audience he insults the crowd using a number of stereotypes to ridicule them and claims that they aren’t real America and that his newly anointed title does not represent them.
Ospreay then enters the ring and chases MJF who flees to the stage, Ospreay then talks about why fans are rejecting this new title and how MJF ruined the prestige of the International Championship.
MJF then calls the audience turncoats for siding with Ospreay and then addresses Ospreay announcing he won’t make it to their match at ALL IN, MJF then announces Ospreay’s opponent for the night who is Lance Archer.
Will Ospreay VS Lance Archer
After a David VS Goliath styled match Ospreay gets the victory after hitting multiple Hidden Blades on Archer.
After the match MJF storms the ring and attacks Ospreay. Kyle Fletcher with Don Callis rush to the ring to save Ospreay, Fletcher then explains to Callis why he felt he needed to save his friend Ospreay he then turns to MJF, shares some words with him and challenges him to a match.
MJF accepts his challenge for the next edition of Dynamite.
Kris Statlander VS Willow Nightingale ( C ) – CMLL Women’s Championship Eliminator Match
The two former friends faced off in a grudge match the match finished after Statlander hit Nightingale with a chain meaning Statlander will have a future shot at the CMLL Women’s Championship.
After the match Statlander goes to hit Nightingale with a steel chair but security come out to stop her, Statlander easily repels the security. Stokely Hathaway and Statlander taunt Nightingale as they leave the ring
Bryan Danielson Addresses the Crowd
Danielson enters the ring and discusses his connection to South Carolina, he then begins to discuss his vow to his daughter that this will be his last contract as a full time wrestler and that he was on the last day of his contract.
He then moves on to the AEW World championship claiming it’s the last thing he has to achieve and that this will be his only chance to win the belt.
AEW World Heavyweight Champion Swerve Strickland then enters the ring, Swerve then begins tio tell Danielson how much he respects him and explains that in any other context he’d want him to win the title, but not now as it’s his time.
Swerve then points out how Danielson couldn’t beat THe Elite or Ospreay but Swerve did, Swerve then points out the amount of injuries Daneilson has accumulated recently.
As Swerve begins to leave, Danielson stops him and gives him a promise that if he does not win their match he will never wrestle again.
Swerve agrees to the stipulation and shakes Danielson’s hand.
Backstage Danielson is walking and Jeff Jarret is celebrating how he went All In Danielson then challenges Jarret to a match next week.
Mariah May and Toni Storm demonstrate their motivations
In a backstage interview Mariah May explains why she manipulated Storm and how it was to take everything she had from her.
Storm Then makes her way to the stage and demonstrates how distraught the betrayal made her crying in the ring.
Kamille’s Debut Match and Mercedes Mone Addresses Britt Baker
Mone and Kamille enter the ring so Kamille could make her wrestling debut in AEW, the match is against a local talent who Kamille swiftly defeats.
After the match Mone discusses Britt Baker and talks about how she now has no chance because Mone has Kamille by her side.
Darby Allin VS “Hangman” Adam Page
The main event of the night is a match between Allin and Page, the two were on opposite teams in the Blood and Guts match on the last episode of Dynamite.
Darby Allin won the match via a rollup as Page let his rage get the better of him once again.
Page tears up the ring as Allin celebrates.
COLLISON
Christian presents the Patriarch their Titles and Buddy Matthews returns
The Patriarch enters the ring Christian has all three titles in his arms.
Christian quickly addresses the crowd and discusses how he did exactly what he said he would when his team won the belts.
He then claims that he will present the Patriarch their titles.
Christian gives a speech for Nick Wayne and then hands him his title,
He then approaches Killswitch and gives him a speech but when it’s time for him to receive his title Christian instead gives it to Mother Wayne
Killswitch looks like he is about to betray Christian but House of Black’s music hits, Christian denies them a title shot as they only have two members currently, Malakai Black and Brody King stand in silence.
It then goes to black and Buddy Matthews appears in the ring with the House of Black, the Patriarchy then flees but as they are fleeing Bang Bang Gangs music hits.
Kip Sabian stops Wayne from escaping and he is then in the ring alone where the House of Black dismantle him.
Bang Bang Gang and the House of Black staredown in the ring.
Von Erichs and Dustin Rhodes Backstage Interview
The trio discuss their newly won titles but are interrupted by Sammy Gueverra who wants to earn their trust and join their team
Mistico and Hologram VS The Premier Athletes
CMLL legend Mistico (FKA Sin Cara) teams up with new talent and AEW original character Hologram,
The pair of Luchadores easily defeat The Premier Athletes
Toni Storm and MAriah May Brawl
Mariah May sits at the commentary desk as she is about to guest commentate Toni Storms match but as Storm enters she attacks May the two brawl and are broken up by security.
Storm then wrestles her match and swiftly beats a local talent.
Kyle Fletcher calls out MJF
Fletcher enters the ring to have a match against Brian Cage the two have a competitive match that Fletcher wins he gets a microphone and explains if he can beat a 300 pound man like Cage he can hurt MJF easily. He then demands a shot at the American Title
MJF then appears on the titantron and says he will make the match a eliminator match and then makes fun of Fletcher for being Australian.
Lee Moriaty VS Claudio Castignoli VS Tomohiro Ishii- Continental Collision
The three face off for a future shot at the Continental Championship.
Castignoli pins Moriaty meaning he will get a shot at Okada at a future event.
Ishii and Castignoli stare down as Ishii feels the win was stolen from him.
Darby Allin, Mark Briscoe and FTR VS The Beast Mortos and Undisputed Kingdom
The main event of the night is a 8 man tag with a classic face vs heel match up. All the faces land a finisher on Taven and get the victory.
After the match the four celebrate in the ring, Dax Harwood gets on the mic and talks about how much they love wrestling and AEW.
They are then interrupted by the Acclaimed who get in the ring and claim they are the real hear and soul of AEW.
Bowens makes it clear that they are next in line for the tag titles.
The two teams tussle in the ring but are stopped after Mark Briscoe convinces them to show some unity.
FTR offers a handshake but The Acclaimed do not accept.
