WWE Superstars to be Playable in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3
The season 5 update of “Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3” will include WWE superstars as playable characters and enable players to use some wrestling moves throughout the game.
In the trailer for the latest free update to the game Australian Rhea Ripley is heavily featured throughout the trailer as she will be available as a operator in the games newest update releasing on July 24th. The trailer also highlights that operators now have the use of some wrestling moves in their arsenals, most notably the Cross Rhodes, a power bomb and an elbow drop.
In a later post on X Call of Duty also revealed that Cody Rhodes and Rey Mysterio will also be available as operators as well in the update too showing a series of screenshots of the characters in action. This post also showed a couple more moves that will be available for players too.
This will be the first time Mysterio and Rhodes have ever featured in a non-wrestling game. Ripley’s outfit and hairstyle was available as a skin for Ash in “Rainbow Six Siege” last year, but this is the first time her complete likeness is available in a video game.
