Trevor Lee, FKA WWE Superstar Cameron Grimes Coming To Australia In November
Since being released this past April, the wrestling world has been eager to see where the man formerly known as Cameron Grimes in WWE would end up in his career. We know now, at least for the time being that the man now known as Trevor Lee will grace the independent circuit once again, including for New South Wales based promotion Integrity Sports Entertainment Australia this November.
During their July 13th event Survivor: Unstoppable, Integrity made the announcement that the former TNA X-Division, TNA Tag Team and NXT North American Champion would touch down in November for two nights with the promotion. Promoted as the “To The Moon Tour”, playing into Lee’s WWE gimmick as a wealthy GameStop shareholder.
Integrity owner Nathan Shortland had the following to say regarding the tour:
Integrity Sports Entertainment Australia is proud to bring Trevor Lee, FKA WWE’s Cameron Grimes, direct from the USA for an exclusive tour.
Lee is a former champion in Impact Wrestling (TNA) and NXT and was recently part of the WWE Smackdown roster.
The “To The Moon Tour” will be held over two big nights on November 15th and 16th.
Lee is one of the best all around free agents currently not signed to a major promotion. He brings high class wrestling, a move set that at times is hard to even comprehend and is also extremely entertaining and a multi-layered performer.
Integrity promises to bring an amazing lineup on these cards and provide a world-class mix of matches and talent.
