Zero Hour
1. Winner Takes All Six Man Tag Match
The Acclaimed (Max Castor and Anthony Bowens) and Daddy Ass (AEW World Trios Champions) vs Bullet Club Gold (Jay White and The Gunns (Austen and Colt)) (ROH World Six Man Tag Team Champions)
This rivalry has been long term storytelling done well. Plenty of heat between both teams. This should go back and forth. I have The Acclaimed and Daddy Ass winning and ending this feud.
Winner: The Acclaimed and Daddy Ass
2. Singles Match
Trent Beretta vs Matt Sydall
This will be Beretta’s first match since turning on Orange Cassidy, and Matt Sydall is the perennial jobber to the stars. I can see this match building Beretta up as a top heel. Beretta is my winner
Winner: Trent Beretta
3. Tag Team Match
Orange Cassidy and Katsuyori Shibata vs Shane Taylor Promotions (Shane Taylor and Lee Moriaty)
This match was set up after Shane Taylor Promotions beat up Orange Cassidy and Katsuyori Shibata after the Cassidy vs Taylor match on Dynamite. It’ll be a decent match. Shane Taylor Promotions for the win
Winner: Shane Taylor Promotions
Main Card:
4. Trios Match
Adam Copeland, Eddie Kingston and Mark Briscoe vs The House of Black (Malakai Black, Brody King and Buddy Matthews)
The trio of Adam Copeland, Eddie Kingston and Mark Briscoe has been great. One of the more interesting Trios in AEW right now. This will be a hard hitting fight. I have Copeland, Kingston and Briscoe winning this
Winner: Adam Copeland, Eddie Kingston and Mark Briscoe
5. FTW Rules Match for the FTW Championship
Hook (c) vs Chris Jericho
This is a “mentor vs pupil” rivalry that has also included Tazz, the father of Hook. I can see Jericho winning this to prove to Hook that he needs a mentor
Winner: Chris Jericho
6. AEW International Championship
Roderick Strong (c) vs Kyle O’Reilly
Kyle O’Reilly returned and wanted to do things on his own. At Battle of the Belts X, Strong turned on O’Reilly, leading to Undisputed Kingdom doing a beat down. Due to Undisputed Kingdom hanging around, I have Roddy winning
Winner: Roderick Strong
7. House Rules Match for the AEW TBS Championship
Julia Hart (c) vs Willow Nightingale
This has been one of the longest stories in AEW right now, dating back to before Julia Hart joining House of Black. The winner will go onto face Mercedes Moné at Double or Nothing. Given her long standing rivalry with Moné, I have Williow winning
Winner: Willow Nightingale
8. AEW Continental Championship
Kazuchika Okada (c) vs Pac
Pac has finally returned from injury and has been looking for a challenge. Kazuchika has accepted the challenge and will defend his Continental Championship, which he’ll retain
Winner: Kazuchika Okada
9. Ladder Match for the vacant AEW World Tag Team Championships
The Young Bucks (Matthew Jackson and Nicholas Jackson) vs FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler)
The Young Bucks have been rather entertaining since pushing the whole EVP gimmick, and the rivalry with FTR is great. The Young Bucks winning this match will add to the arrogance
Winner: The Young Bucks
10. AEW Women’s World Championship
“Timeless” Toni Storm (c) (with Luther and Mariah May) vs Thunder Rosa
Thunder Rosa beat Mariah May to advance to this match. Deonna Purazzo has also made her presence felt, butting heads with Storm and Rosa. I have a feeling that Deonna and Mariah May could end up breaking with each other and cost Thunder Rosa the match
Winner: “Timeless” Toni Storm
11. Singles Match
Will Ospreay vs Bryan Danielson
I have high hopes for this match. This should be a rather technical match. During the build up to the match, Don Callis put a hit out to injure Danielson to mashed this match easier for Ospreay. Either way, I have Ospreay winning. He’s had a great run, being undefeated in AEW to date
Winner: Will Ospreay
12. AEW World Championship
Samoa Joe (c) vs Swerve Strickland (with Prince Nana)
Now is the time for Swerve to win. He is over, he has put in the work. He’s been on fire the last 8 months. He deserves the win here. The contract signing for this match was brutal. This will be a war. Swerve for the win
Winner: Swerve Strickland
