By Eli Conroy-de Voss.
World Series Wrestling is coming back in 2024. After the success of their past few shows, WSW has announced their upcoming tour, “Most Wanted”, will be occurring in June and July. As per usual, the company will your around major Australian cities, showcasing the best of the local scene alongside some of the biggest free agents and top talent from the American scene. This year’s tour has already started hot with some big name inclusions.
As of writing, five of the expected twelve international stars have been announced — two regulars and three new faces. Making their return to Australian soils will be WSW staple and recent Hall of Famer, Brian Cage, and the current WSW Heavyweight Champion, Matt Cardona. The reigning Women’s, Tag Team and Australian Champions have yet to be announced.
The new faces include a number of former WWE personnel. The first name announced was Nic Nemeth, the former Dolph Ziggler having just made his triumphant debuts for both NJPW and TNA. Following him shortly after was WWE’s Elias, now going by the name “Elijah”, who has yet to make an appearance since his release in May. Finally, Ash By Elegance — formerly known as Dana Brooke in WWE — will be making her debut for the company, having recently returned to wrestling for TNA.
The roster is slowly shaping together, with many international and local stars still to come. Most Wanted will be returning to Brisbane on the 28th, Melbourne on the 29th, Sydney on the 30th and will conclude in Adelaide on the 1st of July.
