Major League Wrestling & Oceania Pro Wrestling Form Partnership
Major League Wrestling and Oceania Pro Wrestling have announced a partnership between the two organizations. The partnership will bring international exposure for both promotions and allow a wealth of opportunities to collaborate. It will also allow them both to showcase their talent in different countries, bringing all new fans to both products.
Both Court Bauer the CEO of MLW, and OPW owner Cam Vale have both spoken today about the partnership which reads:
“We are thrilled to team with Oceania Pro Wrestling,” said MLW CEO Court Bauer, “The fans down under are some of the most passionate and we can’t wait to bring them something special as two organizations team-up for some exciting opportunities. Buckle up, we’re going to give you an unforgettable experience.”
“We have some exciting broadcasting announcements to come for 2024 that will involve the MLW and OPW relationship,” said OPW owner Cam Vale. ““This is a truly unique partnership by two innovative wrestling companies, to have OPW champions recognised by MLW as their regional champions and to bring MLW to Australia in 2024 and beyond. OPW wrestlers will show MLW fans how good we are down under, and who knows what that will mean for MLW in the future.”
Professional wrestling in Australia has been on fire and with this partnership it will help more of the Australian talent get to show their skills on a bigger stage. While for MLW it will add yet another country for them to show their shows. Currently they’ve been seen in 60 countries across the world. With this partnership it also gets their superstars to gain some international exposure as well.
The benefit of such a partnership will be a great thing for both promotions going forward, and could lead to more doors being open for both companies and their talent.
