“One Of The Easiest People I’ve Ever Dealt With” Dana White Comments On CM Punk
UFC President Dana White has weighed in on the situation surrounding CM Punk and the perceived notion that he is “hard to work with”. Punk had a brief stint in the Ultimate Fighting Championship between his WWE exit in 2014 and return to the ring in 2021 in AEW. His two losing bouts occurred in 2016 and 2018 before leaving the company.
White spoke with Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated about Punk offering a different perspective to the controversy surrounding Punk:
I’ve had nothing but a great relationship with him since the day we met. He’s a super nice guy. He’s one of the easiest people I’ve ever dealt with.

White expects Punk will be a major figure in the WWE and states his approval:
Do I give my blessing? 100 percent. I love the guy.

White also recaps on Punk’s UFC bouts:
Look, those were tough fights. You know what else is important? Everybody that he trained with and everybody around him in his camp respected him. That spoke volumes.

The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) merged with WWE in September 2023 under the umbrella group TKO Group Holdings, owned by parent company Endeavour.
