Ronda Rousey Makes Ring Of Honor Debut
3 months after leaving WWE following the Summerslam Premium Live Event, former WWE RAW and Smackdown Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey made her Ring Of Honor debut as the mystery tag team partner of Marina Shafir. Rousey and Shafir defeated ROH Women’s Champion Athena and Billie Starks in the main event of the Ring Of Honor taping from November 17th.
Since leaving WWE, Rousey has made some independent appearances prior to the taping, all being tag team matches as Shafir’s partner, against their Ring Of Honor opponents in a separate match for The Wrestling Revolver, and against Taya Valkyrie and Brian Kendrick for Lucha VaVoom.
Rousey’s last match for the WWE was at Summerslam in an MMA Rules match against former friend Shayna Baszler, who emerged from the bout victorious.
