AEW Fight Forever Official Release Date Confirmed
Pro Wrestling Video Game fans can rejoice as we finally have an official release date for AEW Fight Forever, which was announced in 2020 and scheduled for a September 2022 release.
Since then the date had been pushed to November, then February of 2023. Kenny Omega, who is in charge of overseeing the project, claimed that the content of the game had to be scaled back to acquire a Teen rating.
Fightful Select have reported that the game will release in June, around the time of the AEW X NJPW Forbidden Door event. They would confirm that the official release date is June 27th.
The report also notes that AEW and developer Yuke’s will drop the game as a single release with regular updates.
AEW Fight Forever is a spiritual successor of games like WWF No Mercy, published by THQ, and other old-school wrestling games of the era, rather than the current WWE2K series.
