Roderick Strong Makes Debut On Dynamite, Reunites With Former Partner
Roderick Strong was a familiar face to fans of NXT for several years as one quarter of the dominating faction, the Undisputed Era, and since leaving the WWE after his contract expired, fans were eager to see where Strong would show up.
On the April 26th episode of AEW Dynamite, Strong’s former tag team partner, the recently returned Adam Cole, in an attempt to challenge Chris Jericho was attacked by Matt Menard, Angelo Parker, Jake Hagar, and Daniel Garcia on Jericho’s behalf. Orange Cassidy and Bandido attempted to even the odds but the beating continued, until Strong’s music hit and he would sprint down the ramp to make the save.
Cole and Strong would embrace as the two were reunited. At this point, all four former members of the Undisputed Era have appeared on AEW television, with Kyle O’Reilly on the sidelines with an injury and Bobby Fish having since left the company after his contract had expired.
Roderick Strong last appeared on WWE television on the August 9th 2022 episode of NXT 2.0, in a losing effort against Apollo Crews.
