Aussie Open Win NJPW STRONG Openweight Tag Team Championships At Capital Collision
Aussie Open, comprised of the duo of Mark Davis and Kyle Fletcher, captured the IWGP Tag Team Championships in Tokyo 8 days ago as of writing. After a successful defence on AEW Rampage, the team were set to face then champions Motor City Machine Guns, comprised of Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley, as well as Hiroshi Tanahashi and Kazuchika Okada at NJPW Capital Collision with the NJPW STRONG Openweight Tag Team Championships belts up for grabs.
With two sets of gold over their shoulders, Aussie Open claimed they are the best tag team in the world after the match. The crowd chanted for FTR, which Fletcher responded with, “That’s some bullshit.” leading to speculation that the next big feud for the belts could be Aussie Open vs. FTR.
